# What is the difference between a Label & a badge ?

* A Label: An icon/ image that appears <mark style="color:blue;">**INSIDE**</mark> the product image — like a sticker placed directly on the photo
* A Badge: Appears <mark style="color:blue;">**OUTSIDE**</mark> the product image — usually after the product price or below the product image
